Opera Lirica Sydney was founded by our talented producer and director, Vincenzo Nesci. With incredible skill and dedication, Vince has impressed audiences as both a singer and a director. His career spans over 30 years as a professional singer, including 20 years with Opera Australia. Thanks to his vision and the support of close friends who recognized his talent, Opera Lirica Sydney has become a place where creativity thrives.
We’ve brought famous operas like La Traviata, Rigoletto, and Cavalleria Rusticana to life, and our performances of Die Fledermaus and Yeomen of the Guard have delighted audiences in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. By combining the fresh energy of up-and-coming artists with the expertise of experienced performers, we bring new life to beloved classics.
