Maria-Grazia (Grace) is an Australian singer with a fascinating story, having spent nearly 22 years of her life in Florence, Italy. While she always dreamed of being a Broadway star or pop singer, her love for opera sparked after seeing the legendary soprano Katia Ricciarelli perform live in 1989. Inspired, she began training with some of Italy’s most renowned vocal coaches, including Iris Adami Corradetti and Luciano Bettarini. Alongside her musical journey, Grace also pursued her passion for languages, becoming fluent in five and earning degrees in music and language studies.

Her career has taken her across the globe, performing in places like Italy, Switzerland, Monte Carlo, Australia, and New Zealand. She has sung in major operatic productions, including “Il Trovatore” with Luciano Pavarotti, and even performed alongside Andrea Bocelli at a charity event in Florence. Grace has taken on iconic roles in operas such as Tosca, La Bohème, Don Giovanni, and Cavalleria Rusticana. She has also shone in oratorios like Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Magnificat, showcasing her versatility and talent.

Today, Maria-Grazia balances her time performing, teaching, and inspiring students of all ages. Recent highlights include singing as a Valkyrie in Villains & Valkyries with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and performing in Mahler’s Third Symphony. As a member of Opera Australia's Extra Chorus since 2008, Grace continues to share her incredible voice and passion for music with audiences everywhere.
